Our mission, Capturing Appalachian Prosperity and Economic Success (CAPES.) Engaging and encouraging our customers to take “a leap of faith” towards their own economic future is our driving force. Providing customers with pertinent and specific information and services related to job training, professional development, and industry-specific training as it relates to in-demand occupations, as well as emerging industries is critical. However, guiding them and creating hands on experiences to acquire the pertinent skills that lead to these opportunities is key.

Employment and training program that focuses on developing academic, occupational and social skills for persons 16- 24 years of age.
Funding is provided by the United States Department of Labor under a cooperative agreement. The Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) is supported by the U.S. Department of Labor as part of an Adult award totaling $820,222.00, Dislocated Worker award totaling $771,556.00, and Youth Award totaling $747,611.00, with $0 (0%) state, local, and/or non-governmental funds. 100% of total costs of the project or program is financed with federal funds.
